Java/ETL Architect

Java and ETL architect will be part of team designing, implementing and supporting both custom and proprietary ETL systems for the regulatory department.

Candidate will be hands-on and will be able to help developers troubleshoot technical issues. Will also be responsible for supporting data warehouse batch processes during after hours. Candidate will lead projects to integrate data between different large databases and online environments using appropriate tools and technologies. Successful candidate will create documentation, models and presentations to clearly communicate with other teams and management.

This position requires the ability to manage initiatives to aggressive time frames to assure that deadlines are met. This is a fast-paced environment with changing priorities, so flexibility, innovation, and team focus are essential qualities for success

Requirements

Java/ETL data warehouse architect (5+ years experience) with following skills and experience: - Experience using ETL tools (informatica preferred)

- Strong knowledge of ANSI SQL and experience in writing complex SQL

- Strong Oracle database technology skills including basic DBA and PL/SQL skills

- Experience with server side java programming

- Good understanding of web application development technologies and scripting languages

- Programming experience to integrate data (using custom programming, ETL/EAI tools)

- Interest in researching new technologies and keeping current with latest trends in the industry

- Database troubleshooting and tuning skills

- Strong data analysis and report development skills
