Junior Financial Analyst/Reconciliation

Contract - May through August

 

Terrific opportunity to get some real world hands on experience.  Individual will be working on an operations team monitoring and reconciling financial reports.  There will be a great deal of analysis and attention to detail required. 

 

Candidate will review and compare reports, identify discrepancies, document and present findings to team lead.  Team lead will decide remediation plan and together with candidate identify and apply corrective actions. 

 

Candidates will follow an outlined model for all reconciliation and be mentored along in this project.  There will be defined templates/process for root cause analysis. 

 

Qualifications: 

 

Excellent analytical skills

Good written communication skills

Exceptional attention to detail

Ability to understand contract reconciliation reports (training provided)

Ability to define which queries to use for appropriate situation

Excel skills

Some math and/or accounting skills helpful.

 

This position is conveniently located in downtown Boston and easily assessable via public transportation.
