Junior Investment Analyst - Entry Level

POSITION SUMMARY:  To manage the Database of all Mercer Advisors’ Clients, Out of Context assets, and assist in the generation of Portfolio Analysis for all new and Returning Clients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

· Provide Portfolio Analysis for clients with less than $1 Million in assets.

· Follow up with Client Services (CS) teams on Out of Context (OC) assets e.g. what amount got transferred and what did not.

· Analyze the reasons behind non-transfer of OC assets.

· Maintain and update a company wide database of OC assets.

· Generate direct mail pieces to specific clients with 3rd party support and cc CS teams.

· Maintains and updates a database (hard copies as well as soft copies) about our competitors and current market information about them.

· Manage Investment Committee discussion board (new initiative using SPS software).

· Support low level CS queries.

· Support low level Marketing Communication queries.

· Regularly maintain and update Investment Committee intranet website.

· Manage asset capture statistics (Wallet Share) firm wide by CS team.

· Assist in developing CS training materials.

· Participate in Internal & External Investment Committee meetings.

· Provide support to Investment Analysis in completion of other Mercer projects.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting from an accredited college or university.  Will be required to obtain a Series 65 license.  1 to 2 years experience required.
