Junior Software Developer

Q Capital Strategies is looking for a junior software developer to join the IT department, at our Boca Raton, FL office to assist in the maintenance and ongoing development of our in-house line of business software and providing support to the users of this software.

Qualified candidates will possess the following technical skills and experience:

- B.S. in software development or computer science (or equivalent training and experience)

- 1 - 3 years of software development experience

- At least 1 year of experience with VB.NET / ASP.NET (or equivalent web application development)

- Experience with Microsoft Excel and general report writing methods

- Experience with COM+ / DCOM (preferred but not a requirement)

- Experience with AJAX Methodology, Visual Studio 2008 and .NET 3.5 a plus

- Microsoft Developer Certification and SQL Server experience a plus



Additionally, qualified candidates should be prepared to demonstrate:

- Clear and concise documentation and communication skills

- Consistency, attention to detail and exhaustive testing

- Ability to work in a team environment and follow development cycle guidelines accurately (prior experience with Microsoft Visual Studio .NET and Source Safe a plus)

- Understanding of the importance of data security and confidentiality
