Job Description

Hanley Group is currently looking for a Jr. System Administrator to assist in the maintenance of our technology infrastructure and network.  The candidate’s primary responsibility will be the deployment and support of all of the firms IT hardware and software.  The candidate will also assist in the maintenance and development of trading systems and the integration of these systems with our risk systems.  He/She will work closely with our exchange connectivity providers/network administrators to troubleshoot and prevent downtime.  He/She will be apprenticing under senior IT and development personnel; strong ambition and initiative will allow a mutually beneficial work opportunity with much upside potential.

 

Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office products is required.  A+ certification and Linux experience is recommended.  Prior experience with financial derivatives and the trading industry would be a plus.
