We pride ourselves on our strong commitment to client satisfaction, and our focus on helping our employees find their next job. The following description is a three month contract with a well known company in the credit industry.  Our client is looking for a LDAP Administrator with experience in Novell Products.  Job Description: This position is responsible for designing, administering, and supporting Reverse Proxy Servers and Light-Weight Directory Protocol(LDAP) solutions to provide for a 24x7 revenue-generating infrastructure. Works with the Java Development Staff and Management to determine environment requirements. Must have a good understanding of the Linux Operating System, Netware v6.5, and Apache Web Servers.  1. LDAP Administration: Under the direction of the Web Hosting Team Lead, install, upgrade and troubleshoot Novell eDirectory 8,7,x. Provide Tree Design improvements for performance improvements and administration effectiveness. Understand and perform backups and restores of eDirectory. Perform eDirectory Maintenance using iManager. Monitor and maintain an eDirectory tree using iMonitor. Assist in migration of eDirectory from Netware to Linux. 2. Reverse Proxy Administration: Understand how a proxy service protects internal Web infrastructure by providing SSL, fault tolerance and load balancing. Understand access control for Web infrastructure. Work with other Web Hosting team members and Java Development staff to understand requirements and configure Accelerator rules utilizing Novell's iChain product. Participate in clients Change and Incident Management Processes and Procedures. Must be able to effectively describe technical changes to non-technical users in both written and verbal formats. 3. Maintain a solid working relationship with application owners and subject matter experts to determine current and future needs. 4. Must have some understanding of Web Hosting concepts and the software and monitoring tools used to support browser-based application environments.  Must have solid communication skills which foster an effective process between client requirements to client deliverables. Must be flexible, pragmatic and driven to achieve organizational goals. Limited to Extensive mentoring to less experienced team members.  Must be able to work independently and in-group settings.
