SUMMARY:This position is accountable for the design, development and implementation of a wide range of technical services and solutions, largely on the AS400 (iSeries) platform. Provide expertise for AS-400 (iSeries) application development tools and technologies as they relate to the Information Technology Strategy.RESPONSIBILITIES:Developing, testing, debugging, and supporting business system applications. Advises and works with user departments to resolve problems or make changes in programs, applications, capabilities, alternative programming approaches and ideas, limitations, etc.Partner with the business to identify optimal solutions in support of company objectives. Participate in the development of new functionality and enhancements to the application software. Participate in all phases of project lifecycle and create documentation that complies with Deluxe Delivery Assurance practices.Act as technical lead for development team. Ability to perform detailed analysis and design software solutions that are flexible and scalable. Communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of associates and external vendors/partners.Drug screen and background check required.
