Leader, Acceptance - Retail, Merchant Progam Integration

MasterCard Worldwide Major Accountabilities:Purpose: Develop merchant marketing & promotions in support of growing MasterCard acceptance, usage and brand preference across US retail category Align merchant promotional and marketing activities with other functions within the company Accountabilities: Support Merchant Integration team across retail category; executing management objectives; providing business direction, and managing a team of approximately 1 FTEAssist development of strategy and oversee execution of annual strategic marketing plans for each key Retail merchant (15+ accounts)Support integrated disciplined merchant marketing & promotions process in support of Issuers, Product & Global Marketing ' consistent with merchant strategy & stronger than competitive offeringsAssess effectiveness of on-going programs and oversee the analysis of program resultsEnsure effective partnering and integration with MasterCard functions such as Global Marketing, Global Product, MasterCard Advisors and key GKA/RKA teamsManage day to day functioning of the retail integration team including business planning, reporting and budget managementSupport Enterprise Risk Management and maintain compliance with SOX 404 Experience Required:Consumer marketing/advertising experience (5-8 years) in retail industryKnowledge of the payment industry market with emphasis on acceptance and usage, helpful but not necessaryExpertise in promotional development & executionExpertise in the interpretation & analysis of market research and consumer insights and ability to leverage understanding as the foundation for strategy & program developmentExperience across marketing mix with a record of implementing integrated programsHands on experience managing outside agencies (especially promotional)Demonstrates thought leadership, coaching and management skillsRecord of developing innovative solutions to complex business problemsPlanning and effective priority setting (can see forest through trees)Customer-focused, Solutions-oriented mentalityCollege degree (mba preferred) RESPOND HERE!
