Learning Standards Specialist, Strategic Learning

Edward Jones is looking for an experienced and capable associate to document and maintain standards for their instructional technologies. This is an exciting opportunity to assist the firm creating efficiency and consistency in its e-learning program. This Technology Standards Specialist will be responsible for working with the multiple learning teams in the firm along with IS to determine the standards and best practices that should be in place to govern instructional technologies. This position will also be responsible for conducting audits to monitor for conformance to the standards that are in place. This associate will create and maintain the standards for the areas of responsibility then communicate the standards through documentation and training the users of the technology. The standards are expected to be robust such they create efficiency, protect the IS network, and also allow for an innovative and engaging e-learning program.Responsibilities 1. Document standards for each instructional technology 2. Document standards and best practices for development of e-learning 3. Train users on standards 4. Audit e-learning and LMS content for compliance to standardsRequirements Minimum of 2 years experience maintaining standards, preferably with web or e-learning technology. Bachelor degree preferred. Technical Writing experience is a plus Must have an understanding of technology and be able to communicate with both IS and learning functions. Possess a drive to understand current and emerging technologies and how they can shape learning. Responsible for establishing templates and standards for e-learning as well as standards for authoring and testing tools to successful e-learning development. Demonstrates highly effective change management skills, maintains flexibility and is able to implement new processes. Possesses excellent verbal and communication skill.
