Job Description
To assist CEO and Director of Syndications with accounting activities, lease documentation (including funding and booking each lease transaction), and some general administrative duties. Documentation responsibilities will include interfacing with legal counsel and origination source’s documentation team, ordering Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) searches; preparing title work, verifying insurance coverage, as well as follow-up and tracking of lease transactions. Funding responsibilities will include preparing and sending wires to the vendor or syndication partner. Booking responsibilities will include entering all lease transactions into LeasePlus, applying appropriate taxes, and insuring proper invoicing, collection and application of payments. Accounting functions will include making accounting adjustments for booked lease transactions, filing sales and use tax returns, property tax returns and maintaining lease database records.

Devoted to Task Task and Description of Responsibility
40% Lease Transaction Coordination
Assist Vice President for the closing and documentation of middle-market to large, multi-party transactions. Responsible for the review of lease documentation and the funding and booking of lease transactions. Assist primarily in efforts resulting in successful, accurate and timely lease documentation and funding to ensure Lessees and syndication sources satisfaction.
Responsibilities also include the preparation of lease agreements, equipment schedules, excel spreadsheet exhibits, application for certificate of title, registration, transfer of ownership and other legal form documentations. Telephone calls and e-mails to Syndication sources and occasionally to Lessee’s to coordinate document flow and timely fundings.
40% Accounting Responsibilities
Process lease transactions and record leases into LeasePlus accounting software. Will perform miscellaneous lease billing and monthly recurring billings. Will maintain lease database records, including rewrites, lease renewals, lease terminations, sales, updating equipment location and customer information. Process lease accounting month-end close, prepare accounting adjustment and journal entries, provide reports to management
Will be responsible for preparing sales and use tax returns, filing annual property tax renditions, processing property tax bills for payment, and billing customers for property tax reimbursement.
20% Organization and Maintenance of Lease Files
Organize and prepare Transaction Files for final filing including organizing and labeling of all Transaction Files and filing of all Lease Transaction documents (including original executed documents, correspondence, insurance certificates, inter-company assignments, appraisals, Equipment Schedules, UCC’s, document closing checklist, etc.) for Transaction File completion.
Requirements
· Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting preferred
· Minimum 3 years equipment leasing/loan documentation knowledge or experience
