Level 1 Help Desk/IT Administrator

Our client in Jersey City, NJ has a 3 month contract opportunity for a Level 1 Help Desk/IT Administrator.Administration of the following functions*  Daily receiving of IT hardware and software products*  Communication with vendors who have missed ETA**s for product deliveries and the expedition of the item**s receipt*  Communicate with desktop and server engineers related to their product deliveries*  Maintenance of the Floor Plan database (seating chart)*  Maintenance of hardware and software asset inventorieso Entry of receipts upon delivery to LAo Maintaining loaner inventorieso Administration of the 11th floor IT Storage room and the equipment within themo Processing of obsolete equipment for disposal*  Vendor returns ** communications with Purchasing, Finance and vendor personnel to ensure the timely return of the product and if already paid, the receipt of the vendor**s credit *  Sending, receiving and recording of vendor performance and user compliance surveys (periodically)*  Periodic auditing of asset inventories*  Receipt and setup of all Blackberry units.
