IB Operations:

IB Operations is a dynamic and diverse division that ensures trades are settled in a timely, cost efficient manner, that risk is minimised and that the client experience is a pleasant one.  Spread across multiple product areas (Derivatives, Securities, Global Finance & Foreign Exchange Operations, Loans, Trust and Securities, as well as cross functional entities) IB Operations strives to do things smarter, faster and more effectively.  It meets the technical and operational challenges of processing transactions worth hundreds of billions of Euros every day, across multiple time zones in all the major currencies and markets.

 

Loan Operations – Client Static Data / Control Group

Responsibilities Include:

- Assist Customer Control group (creation, maintenance and support of customer accounts, information and static data within the Loans processing system (i.e. customer builds, independent client sourcing, client call back, etc.)

- Analyze and maintain customer documentation to ensure compliance with Regulatory requirements and/or guidelines (e.g. Patriot Act)
- Liaise with other groups and businesses as needed (Credit, Business, Document Managers, Operations, etc.) to coordinate, agree, manage customer detail
- Effectively manage "time sensitive" processing constraints
- Create and maintain Key Metrics

- Monitor/maintain daily customer, remittance instruction and check logs

- Scan and e-mail remittance instruction documents

- Archive documents

- Shared National Credit (SNC)  reporting support

- Tax reporting support

- Resolve all customer and agent bank inquiries

 

Skills Required:

- Knowledge of new customer input processes and specifically the Know Your Client

- (KYC) account building process

- Knowledge of cash settlement processes

- Strong “Control” orientation/mind set

- Knowledge of OFAC and Embargo processes

- Knowledge of Loan IQ

- Must be pro-active and a self starter

- Must have excellent communication skills

- Must have strong analytical skills

- Must have strong PC skills (Excel, Word, Internet search)
