IB Operations:

IB Operations is a dynamic and diverse division that ensures trades are settled in a timely, cost efficient manner, that risk is minimised and that the client experience is a pleasant one.  Spread across multiple product areas (Derivatives, Securities, Global Finance & Foreign Exchange Operations, Loans, Trust and Securities, as well as cross functional entities) IB Operations strives to do things smarter, faster and more effectively.  It meets the technical and operational challenges of processing transactions worth hundreds of billions of Euros every day, across multiple time zones in all the major currencies and markets.

 

Loan Operations – Non Agency Servicing

Responsibilities Include:

Ø  Loan Administration:

a)  Manage portfolio of loan credits related to loan trading positions.

b)  Reconciliation of interest, fees and compensation as related to the loan and assignment agreements.

c)  Interface with Traders, Relationship Managers, and Loan Operations staff of various banks including Deutsche Bank.

Ø  Trade Support:

a)  Interface with Traders and Clear Par to close Par trades.

b)  Coordinate with Compliance Group on trade closings.

c)  Ensure that proper documentation has been received and funds are sent correctly to counterparties.

Ø  Reporting:

a)  Maintain “control reports” and follow up on unapplied funds with agent banks.

Ensure all past due items and unapplied funds have status comments on reporting.

 

Skills Required:

-Experienced working with numbers, deadlines, strong time management skills, team player.

-Basic accounting background, understanding of Commercial loans, experience with funds flow and money transfer.

-Loan IQ Experience

-Minimum 1 years experience in loan administration.

-Good system skills, excel spreadsheets, access, and banking systems. Loan IQ knowledge a plus.

-Good organizational and workflow management skills needed.

-Experience in Loan Trading also desired.
