IB Operations:

IB Operations is a dynamic and diverse division that ensures trades are settled in a timely, cost efficient manner, that risk is minimised and that the client experience is a pleasant one.  Spread across multiple product areas (Derivatives, Securities, Global Finance & Foreign Exchange Operations, Loans, Trust and Securities, as well as cross functional entities) IB Operations strives to do things smarter, faster and more effectively.  It meets the technical and operational challenges of processing transactions worth hundreds of billions of Euros every day, across multiple time zones in all the major currencies and markets.

 

Loan Operations – Loan Trade Support Assistant

Responsibilities Include:

Trade Support:

a)  Interface with Front office to insure timely trade input – building deals/customers and following up for details to complete system input.

b)  Coordinate with Accounting and Control to ensure that all trades are booked and allocated on a timely basis.

c)  Generate reporting to Front Office and Operations to detail status of positions.

d)  Extensive interaction with the trading desk

e)  Interface with Closing and Compliance, Controllers, clients and Counterparties.

f)  Advise desk of pending Corporate Actions.

 Reporting:

a)  Reporting of trade capture to front office

b)  Trade Date positions

 

Skills Required:

Individual must have:

- Strong interpersonal skills, both verbal and written

- Ability to handle heavy volume and work within deadlines

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

 

Strongly preferred:
- Knowledge of loan procedures

- Aptitude in mathematics / analysis would be beneficial

- An above average competency with Microsoft Excel and Word is beneficial.

- Financial services experience, preferably in a loan environment
