We currently have an opening for an Logistics Coordinator  Summary Description: The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for consultative and functional implementations with Business Units and MIS staff regarding design of systems, including both functional flows and physical infrastructures. This position also assists in capacity and strategic planning and reporting to account for growth and scalability in the enterprise. Position Responsibilities:1. Effectively interprets business requirements and engage business and MIS customers with requirements documentation, infrastructure design, implementation processes and solution documentation
2. Produces diagrams of both proposed and production systems using Microsoft Visio
3. Leverages capacity and performance metrics to identify opportunities for system improvement and problem avoidance; monitors systems and metrics to ensure smooth scaling of critical systems; provides regular reporting and statistics on key systems
4. Develops and presents charts and graphs on critical systems to inform senior management of system capacity as an aid to future system planning
5. Performs data analysis and makes recommendations for system upgrades to ensure sufficient capacity
6. Oversees deployment of major components of install upgrade, migration or conversion efforts within the Logistics area
7. Documents conversion plans and results
8. Works with D/R team to ensure recoverability of production environment
9. Develops and maintains corresponding documentation  Candidates must have the following qualifications:1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent work experience
2. 3+ years experience and expertise in infrastructure design and deployment
3. 1+ year exposure to varying development life cycles, release management, change management and operational maintenance practices
4. Demonstrates well-developed conceptual understanding of business problems related to assigned function and root-cause analysis projects
5. Displays relentless focus on customer service and customer satisfaction
6. Holds self accountable for high personal and professional standards
7. Proven ability to organize and manage multiple priorities/tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
8. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including presentation skills, and demonstrated ability to work with other individuals to achieve mutual satisfaction
9. Demonstrates ability to handle administrative details and routine day-to-day issues independently, assuming responsibility without direct supervision
10. Computer proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook Additional qualifications preferred but not required: None
