As a Career General Agent, you will have leadership responsibility for sales, recruiting, marketing, operations, and P&L of a growing, successful Genworth Affiliated Career Agency. You will be responsible for developing a strong team of dedicated career sales insurance specialists who can help the aging population of America secure their financial futures and provide quality long term care options.

To qualify you should possess:Proven sales leadership experience with at least 5 years of experience in the financial services or insurance industry and at least 3 years of experience in an entrepreneurial environment.Proven track record of consistent sales growth.Proven ability to recruit, develop and retain dedicated career sales agents.Proven ability to efficiently manage resources as evidenced by budget or P& L responsibility.Proven ability to develop market strategies, penetrate untapped markets and generate new sales opportunities.Proven ability to develop training and coaching plans and strategies for both new and experienced career sales agents.Proven ability to develop and make presentations to large groups attending training, workshops, seminars and sales meetings.Proven track record of promoting professional growth and development in prior sales organizations as evidenced by holding and encouraging sales representatives to hold professional industry designations such as CLTC, CLU, ChFC, CFP, or CSA.Proven track record of promoting growth and development through affiliation with professional industry organizations such as GAMA, MDRT and NAIFA.Financial stability and proven financial management skills and ability. Life and Health Insurance license.
