MANAGER OF CUSTOM PROJECTS COSTING

American of Martinsville Inc, located in Martinsville, VA and a leader in the contract furniture manufacturing for the Hospitality and Healthcare/Senior Living markets, is seeking a MANAGER OF CUSTOM PROJECTS COSTING.

You will manage and oversee the Costing function for Casegoods and Upholstery. You will be responsible for ensuring all cost estimates are completed accurately and within our defined process. In addition, you will supervise employees and carry out personnel responsibilities including interviewing, hiring and training employees, appraising performance, addressing complaints and resolving problems.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate's degree or 5-7 years of related experience and training; strong financial skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office and CAD packages; excellent communication and analytical skills; and the ability to compute margin ratios, percentages and draw conclusions. Experience with both domestic and import Casegoods manufacturing, and experience with Casegoods and Upholstery materials and components required.
