And because we constantly encourage new ideas and new thinking from our associates, our continued growth is assured.Uses various systems to process requests from the Membership Database, which includes, but is not limited to: processing new memberships, setting up new or additional subscriber codes, turning on and off access to products, and making territory, name, address, and new or existing TransUnion Desktop changes.Duties & Responsibilities 1. Processes new memberships within 48 hours in accordance with the Membership SOP. Reviews paperwork for accuracy and completeness, ensuring all contracts and forms are present and consistent, with proper signatures. Performs due diligence procedures to ensure that the company meets requirements to become a TransUnion subscriber, which includes but is not limited to: Verification of permissible purpose to pull TransUnion products; contacting bank and trade references to verify information about the customer¿s account (when an account was opened, credit line, manner of payment, balance, nature of applicant¿s business); verification of business license with city/state authority to ensure it is current and accurate; verification of prospective customer information with directory assistance, Check Domain.com, Articles of Incorporation, and Internet. Checks Fraud and Hawk Databases for potential problems. 2. Documents all issues and resolutions in Membership Database. Communicates with sales support or sales associate or the potential customer regarding all issues pertaining to membership paperwork. 3. Issues subscriber codes and passwords for new customers once management has approved membership. May send welcome letters to customers. Prepares membership packets for Imaging, which includes creating scanning sheets for executed contracts. 4. Sets up Internet access to TransUnion products via TransUnion Desktop. Creates new user Ids and passwords for all employees of the company authorized to pull products. For existing TransUnion Desktop users, resets passwords, removes/adds user Ids, updates e-mail addresses. Sends notification and pertinent information to appropriate parties. 5. Utilizes CRONUS/SBMT to turn access to TransUnion products on and off. For existing customers, verifies contract/agreement is on file or in Imaging before turning on products. 6. Utilizes TransUnion Billing System (TUBS) to process basic customer information as required, including territory, address, name, and contact changes, adding or expiring fees (basic service and membership), activation/deactivation of subscriber codes. May set up test codes. 7. Occasionally assists with auditing of another associate¿s work and documents results 8. Completes special projects as required, which includes but is not limited to mass updates for customers for territory changes, shut-off lists, and additional codes. 9. Performs other duties as assigned. QualificationsThe duties and responsibilities described above are the essential functions of the job. Excellent customer service skills, ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks, strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact in a professional manner with associates and customers at all levels. Must be able to accept change and complete assignments in a timely manner. Requires proficiency in using personal computers, including worksheet and spreadsheet applications, and the software used by the department. Minimum typing of 30 wpm.
