MIS Specialist

The MIS Specialist uses automated and manual systems to develop, generate, and analyze business reports pertaining to all phases of the Bankruptcy cycle for internal and external client needs. 

 

Key Responsibilities for the Position Include:

· Utilize analytical skills and bankruptcy industry practices, techniques, and standards to produce daily, weekly, and monthly reporting for internal departments and external clients.

· Develop solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity while referring to policies and practices for guidance.

· Ability to provide research and explanation for all results generated. Group team leader reviews work for soundness and overall adequacy and accuracy.

· Contribute to the completion of projects.  Analyze, research, and provide insight into current systems and help generate ideas and solutions to improve reporting functions.

· Manage time and consistently hit deadlines for all reporting and analysis that is time sensitive. Work under very general supervision.

 

Candidates should be skilled in the following:

· Microsoft Office, Access, Excel, Internet

· PC Skills

· Data management

· MS SQL Server a strong plus

· Cognos Series 7 or 8 a strong plus

· Bankruptcy knowledge a plus
