Based in Berkeley CA, quantitative researchers design, implement, evaluate, maintain, and apply quantitative models of securities and markets. MSCI Barra Research combines financial engineering, empirical analysis and statistical testing.Skills Required:Candidate QualificationsThe successful candidate is a highly motivated individual with strong quantitative and problem solving skills as well as a deep interest in empirical research. Critical thinking, curiosity and excellent communication skills are essential. A background in finance and/or 2~3 years experience in financial industry is desirable. Programming experience is a plus.
