Mainframe Release Management Analyst, AVP-Global Technology Infrastructure

Global Technology Infrastructure reinforces our collaborative relationship with Clients and key Stakeholders to provide business-driven technology solutions and maintain a competitive business advantage.Job Responsibilities: The Mainframe Release Management Analyst is responsible for reviewing Endevor mainframe packages submitted for existing job maintenance and new job implementations within both online and batch environments. The Analyst must ensure satisfactory test results are presented, that packages are satisfactorily approved, that they contain all necessary and required components and that all elements meet the standards and guidelines set forth by the firm. Additionally incumbents provide assistance to internal clients with questions/issues regarding packages as well as the entire release to production process.Qualifications: Required technical skills include: Expert knowledge in Endevor, JCL, Batch procedures and environments, and release/change management principles. Minimum 3 years experience using Endevor and 5 years experience supporting large-scale computer environments with focus on mainframe based skillsSignificant experience in utilizing the Endevor change management product with regard to creating, reviewing, approving packages and batch jobs is mandatoryStrong and experienced skill sets involving CA11 , IBM utilities, online (CICS) processes, DB2 processes, JES(3) operating systems, 3270 emulation software, Windows XP workstation, Internet Explorer or equivalent, Microsoft Office suite, REMEDY v7, TSO/ISPF, VSAM, and CAFC is preferredWorking knowledge of Infogix/ACR balancing utility with regard to creating, testing, and implementing rules Must be knowledgeable in the structure of PDS/PDSE and system libraries and be disciplined in process improvement strategies Strong communication skills are required as this position interacts regularly with client base and must explain and enforce standards and process.
