Addresses internal and external customer needs with statistical analysis. Integrates their expertise in theoretical and/or applied business statistics with an understanding of business concerns and applications to design, lead, and develop internal complex analytical solutions.  Manages the development, coding, testing, debugging, maintenance, modification, and installation of exits, characteristics, and data pulls. Provides technical support for new and existing products and services developed by Analytical Services. Provides statistical support for custom products and services developed by Analytical Services. Addresses database and compliance changes from an analytical viewpoint to ensure smooth transitions that will mitigate the risk of loss of credit reporting business to TransUnion. Mentors one or more senior programmer analysts and ADS Analyst to ensure they are provided effective training and guidance.Responsible for managing Sr. Programmer Analysts providing technical support for Analytical Services. Manages the analysis/design, technical support, communication, planning, coding, and testing of Analytical Services exits and characteristics.  Consults with internal and external customers to design and conduct analyses for the smooth transition between products, data, and compliance changes.  Utilizes various advanced statistical modeling techniques such as regression, CHAID, clustering neural network and other advanced statistical methods. Independently conducts analysis that leads to the creation of robust models within time and cost constraints.  Provides easy to understand and action oriented analytic reports and presentations for customers.  Explores new statistical analysis and related research techniques and software and presents analysis findings to peers and other groups within TransUnion. Responsible for providing strategic consulting and needs assessment services to internal customers. Account for the full project cycle of analytical and modeling projects for TransUnion developing detailed modeling and analysis requirements, performing advanced statistical techniques, mentoring and coordinating analytical resources, and ensuring that deliverables are in accordance with TransUnion¿s expectations and business needs. Duties & Responsibilities QualificationsThe duties and responsibilities described above are the essential functions of the job.  The qualifications below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Masters in Statistics or other related field such as mathematics, business, finance, economics, or equivalent with 5-7 or more years of relevant work experience including providing technical support for a functional department or business unit.  Management experience of 3 or more years required.  Strong knowledge of TransUnion¿s database and analytical products.
