Manager Clearing IT

Manage one or more highly complex or enterprise wide IT programs consisting of multiple projects. Partner with senior business leadership to align IT projects with the goals of the enterprise. Contribute to the program strategy, supporting business case, and various enterprise-wide high-level project plans. Ensure effective integration of projects into programs; adjust scope, timing, and budgets based on the needs of the business. Deliver projects and programs on-time and within budget while meeting the strategic and business requirements. Track key project milestones and dependencies relative to program milestones and recommend adjustments to the Project Managers. Communicate project and program strategy, status, and changes to IT and business leadership. Proactively and creatively manage program and project risks. Guarantee completeness and accuracy of key project deliverables; ensure compliance of those deliverables to CMEG standards. Directly and indirectly supervise and manage project managers.

Requirements

Minimum of 8 years of demonstrated project and program management experience of progressively increasing responsibility. Must possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of various software development and delivery management methodologies and tools. Experience managing distributed software development teams and projects. Experience and comfort operating in a matrixed environment. Experience managing project managers and other team members with varying skills levels and coordinating the activities of several teams. Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Must have proven customer service track record. Preferred:PMP certification Financial services industry experience, particularly in derivatives and trade processing. Software development background preferred.
