Manager Technology Procurement

Lead the negotiation and purchase of technology software and hardware goods and services by CME. Partner with internal business clients to ensure that purchased goods and services meet the needs of the business clients. Proactively seek ways to drive down total cost of ownership through evaluation of vendor relationships. The ability to understand the technology involved will be as important as the purchasing skills.

Experience:

Demonstrated experience with complex technology hardware and software procurement transactions.Previous experience with Request for Proposal processes and evaluating proposalsDemonstrated ability to initiate improvements in procurement

Requirements

Bachelor's degree required.CPM certification is preferred. Demonstrated skills in commercial procurement and quantitative analysis skills. Strong written and oral communication skills and reading comprehension skills required. Five years experience in contract negotiation and purchasing enterprise wide technology goods and services. Ability to develop and maintain excellent internal and external customer relationships. Demonstrated time management and organizational skills.
