Ruesch International is recruiting for a Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis to join its global finance team. The position is located at our North American Headquarters in Washington, DC. Responsibilities:

The Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis will develop, review and provide quantitative and qualitative analysis of operating plans, strategic plans and forecasts. The Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis will perform financial analysis of capital projects, products and services and analyze pricing and lease-buy options. Perform post-audit projects to measure performance compared to projections and provide analytical support to accounting operations and finance.  This position:

 Develop and maintain annual capital and operating budget processes.  Provides guidance to North America management team regarding annual budget process.  Coordinates with TGBP leadership and Group leadership to deliver annual capital and operating budgets.Supports Regional Director, Finance on strategic planning processes as determined by TGBP and Group leadershipManages monthly and quarterly forecast process in collaboration with North America management team and TGBP and Group leadershipManages capital approval and monitoring process.  Work within cross functional teams to effectively analyze proposals and deliver strategic business analysis. Develop excellent relationships with North America management team.  Development of cost structure models that support current and emerging businessesDevelop and present to senior management profitability and sensitivity analysis.Establish goals and actively participate in company-wide cross-functional initiativesAnalyze large new business opportunities for feasibility and potential sales and profit.Mentor and coach finance team members on business acumen and financial analysis Requirements:A Bachelors or Advanced Degree in Accounting or Finance is required. 7+ years of related experience or an MBAStrong financial analysis skills, solid financial systems background (Excel, Hyperion, SAP etc.), working familiarity financial business processes. Project Management and leadership skills required. Ability to communicate effectively to Senior Management Ability to influence others to accomplish cross-functional objectives Strong problem solving skills and ability to work through problems independentlyAbility to multi-task many different activities and prioritize among them to maximize output of available resources. Able to handle the stress of a fast paced and ever-changing work environment. Demonstrates skill in dealing with executives and senior management Thinks globally and incisively, taking a broad view of the full range of variables that could impact the success of the organization Asks critical, insightful questions, and probes all fruitful sources for information that facilitates problem solvingPotential travel 5-10%

 

Preferred Experience:MBA or CPA is desirablePrior experience in the financial services industry preferredInternational experience is preferred
