Apply your mind, heart and entrepreneurial talents with the industry’s leading team, and discover why top-performing Margin Analyst, Senior  Primary Responsibilities Include:·  Working to improve and support Consumer Markets Division (CMD) revenues, pricing-policies, approaches and structures·  Mining, analyzing, trending and interpreting complex pricing-data and -information in order to define issues, document conclusions and formulate recommendations based on intelligence gleaned from the analysis·  Analyzing economic-models in order to identify pricing opportunities and present to interpretations and detailed analyses of findings to management·  Providing recommendations and alternatives for further consideration·  Developing and implementing new pricing-measures and revenue-maximizing approaches·  Assisting field personnel in the understanding, interpretation and application of pricing policies and approaches·  Reviewing and updating pricing policies as new products are developed and new pricing-adjustments created·  Troubleshooting pricing-related issues in order to devise solutions·  Working with the pricing manager and technology team to build, maintain and support flexible systems·  Conferring with the sales team in order to understand competitive issues   A Successful Candidate Will Have:·  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Math·  5+ years of mortgage-banking experience—with emphasis on pricing·  Solid information-technology, database and modeling-utility experience·  Comprehensive experience in mortgage pricing·  Knowledge of mortgage products and delivery processes·  Proficiency in advanced math·  Ability to anticipate, before implementation and/or testing, the impact of requested changes·  Ability to present complex issues to all levels of management·  Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills   The Ideal Candidate May Also Possess:·  Superior Microsoft Access skills·  MPA/CPA·  Understanding of servicing values·  SQL experience   Countrywide is committed to leveraging the talent of a diverse workforce to create great opportunities for our business and our people.
