Market Analyst
Brief Description: Position will assist staff and management on identification, research, and market analytics for the Valuations department. Working closely with management on various tasks including but not limited to, value review quality, acquisition value oversight, internal and external calibration, and training. Fill in production gaps when needed, including value reviews, and coordination based functions. Conduct and facilitate calibration meetings, broker training, and presentations pertaining to real estate market fluctuation, variance, and quality. Responsible for keeping all departments and investors up to date with trends, volumes, and market forecast.Job Responsibilities: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Extensive knowledge of Real Estate Market, Appraisal Review, & Repurchase. Experience in Vendor Management, both internal & external Strong knowledge of Wilshire in-house computer systems including Wilma, Pulse, and Fortracs. Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to details. Very strong Organizational Skills.Qualifications: GENERAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Skill to type 50 words per minute. Ability to operate general office equipment (photocopier, fax, etc.). Proficient spelling, grammar and composition skills. Ability to handle delegated tasks and deadlines with attention to detail. Organizational skills.COMMUNICATION SKILLS: 1. Ability to effectively communicate with coworkers, peers, and management through written and verbal communication.2. Ability to communicate with customers, internal departments, and other outside parties in a professional manner.3. Ability to provide superior customer service to all internal and external customers.4. Ability to communicate with the real estate and legal professions in a professional manner5. Ability to handle and resolve recurring problems in a tactful manner. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience in training environment including but non limited to corporate training, classroom/meeting facilitation, or presentations. 5+ years experience in real estate valuation. 2-4 years in real-estate industry with a focus in servicing. 2-4 years of experience in project management, programming, MIS, or equivalent.SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: 1.
