Market Development Manager

One of the top retail grocery suppliers in the country has an exciting opportunity for a talented Market Development Manager, responsible for the Central and South Florida Markets.  This individual will be responsible for new business, growing, protecting, and retaining current business and market share.

The Market Development Manager will be make recommendations to the VP of Market Development concerning financing projects and lease opportunities. Region interaction will be with Sales & Marketing, Finance, Category Management, and Logistics.  Home office coordination will be with Legal, Credit, Market Analysis, DSG and Project Management.

The MDM will support and implement the region's Strategic Market Plan.  Success in this role will be measured by sales vs. budget.  This professional should have a four year degree or equivalent and a minimum of five years experience working in a wholesale environment with independent retailers.  Strong financial knowledge, including retail P&L analysis and in depth knowledge of the grocery industry are required.  This position offers significant career growth potential.
