The department also works with Agencies regarding selection and consulting to increase sales, generate profitable premium growth and increase market share in Financial Services and Property and Casualty areas. The scope of this job is to learn about company distribution practices and demonstrate the application and mastery of sales and leadership concepts that will lead the incumbent to a distribution leadership position as deemed appropriate. The length of the distribution leadership development phase is based on the trainee's prior experience, development plan, and market availability. The position will be responsible for: Education Phase - Attend and successfully complete Pre-National Sales Education Center, National Sales Education Center, and Post-National Sales Education Center.Complete regional office rotation, and learn the office support department structure and programs. Selling Phase - Satisfy all licensing requirements including Property and Casualty, Life and Health, Series 6 and 63, Variable Authority if required by the state and other licenses that are deemed necessary. Field Sales assignment, work out of an existing Allstate Agency selling and servicing Allstate products. Mini-Market Assignment - observe and participate in leading a market through on the job training. Will assist with Market development, as well as, installation of new agencies. Sales Leadership Development Workshop - participate in an advance Home Office workshop to develop consulting skills.Required Skills: (skills individual must bring to the job) and sill levels required: -Beginner (has general understanding/knowledge-Intermediate (has good working knowledge/understanding)-Advanced (is considered an expert) The skills required are:1. Sales Consulting and Sales Leadership __Beginner ___Intermediate ___Advanced 2. Recruiting __Beginner ___Intermediate ___Advanced 3. Communication: Verbal and Written ___Beginner ___Intermediate ___Advanced 4. Technology ___Beginner ___Intermediate ___Advanced Experience Required: (Type of experience and number of years required) 3+ years of Sales Management or Management experience Background in the Insurance and/or Financial industries preferred. Licensing Requirements include Property and Casualty, Life and Health Series 6,63, 26, 51 or 53 and 63 (able to complete Securities license while in education phase and prior to Mini Market). Industry Certification preferred 4 year College DegreeComputer Proficiency (computer skills needed to do the job) Microsoft Office Suite and the Internet
