Marketing Analyst
Marketing Analyst is responsible for the implementation and presentation of quantitative analysis using a variety of techniques in support of Marketing, Business Development and Partner Management organizations. Primary responsibilities include customer segmentation, marketing recommendations, campaign measurement, data mining, predictive modeling and financial optimization in a quick-turnaround data-driven environment. The position requires ability to understand how to solve business problems using analytical skills as well as communication skills to present results to both internal and external clients across a variety of industry verticals.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or related analytic field of study
Minimum of 2 years experience in an organization reliant on data analysis to make business decisions
Education and background in problem solving using statistical techniques that may include regression, cluster analysis and significance testing
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to translate high-level business requirements into specific analytic tasks
Demonstrated skill in an analytical application, such as SAS, SQL, SPSS, or BRIO/COGNOS/Business Objects
Also requires:
Strong quantitative skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment, actively listen, and creatively apply statistics to produce high-quality business recommendations
Attention to detail and quality
Ability to asses impact of decisions to business & quantify implications
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Ability to excel in a fluid, fast-paced work environment
Preferred Requirements:
Degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Mathematics or Economics
