Job Purpose:


To become the financial business partner to the Vice President of Corporate Development in support of the Global Marketing, (Product Management, Events, PR, Solutions Marketing & Business Consulting), Global Product Documentation, Global Frameworks Solutions and Corporate Development functional units. Support includes providing financial plans, forecasts, analysis, critical measurement reporting, formulation and execution of policies, and improving business processes that enable the functional units to be successful. Accountable for systems, metrics, and budgets that make the functional units run smoothly and effectively.

Key Result Areas:Timely monthly reporting (forecast/budgets/variances, operational metrics) to VP of Corporate Development, his staff and Finance. Member and financial lead on VP of Corporate Developments Staff. Regularly meet with the VP of Corporate Development and his staff to assist with sound financial advice in support functional operating decisions. Drive annual budgeting process for all supported groups to ensure the development of a timely and meaningful process. Drive appropriate policies for the organization to ensure Purchase Orders are completed in a timely manner and commitments are made only after proper approvals. Produce executive reviews of business performance including input to the MD&A section of the 10K and 10Q statements, keep the Board and management informed and current on all major events and initiatives. Achieve processing and analysis deadlines to support report distribution. Continually propose & implement improvements to processes and content of reports & metrics. Produce forecasts of people, P&L, expenses with commentary to assist in guiding management actions and decisions for the functional units. Analyze income statement trends and variances, headcount, capital expenditures, customer and operational profitability, etc. to identify issues and propose courses of action or resolution for the functional units. Other responsibilities and key result areas will be assigned as required

Education and Experience Requirements:BA/BS, MBA desired, CPA a plus Experience in Financial Planning & Analysis with 7-10 years in the high-tech industry in accounting or finance; experience in decision support and presentation of business information at a senior level; experience designing and implementing corporate reporting.
