Location: Riverwoods, IL UNITED STATESFunctional Area: MarketingMin Pay Rate: $Max Pay Rate: $Pay Type: YearResource Type: Full TimeJob Description: Principal Responsibilities Successful candidate will manage all operational aspects of the Discover issued general spending prepaid and gift cards.The manager will oversee day-to-day operations of the products, including card distribution and fulfillment, point-of-sales and load network management, settlement, and manage external processors in the aspects of reporting, customer services, inventory management, fraud/risk management and regulatory issues. Essential Functions: • Execute operational implementation to ensure successful product launches and support subsequent product evolution. • Manage business operations, including card distribution and fulfillment, point-of-sales operations, fund management, and network connectivity, to ensure top rated customer experience. • Manage partner processors and network participants to deliver operational excellence for our customers. • Explore potential opportunities to drive operational excellence, e.g. leveraging platforms across businesses, pursuing incremental process improvements.SKILLSRequired: Requirements • BS/BA or equivalent degree • 8+ years of experience in card/ retail operations, or financial services industry • Track record of performance, results oriented • Strong business acumen, excellent analytical skills, data affinity • Demonstrated problem solving and project management skills • Excellent communications skills • Strong team leadership and interpersonal skillsDesired: Desired • MBA or equivalent degrees • Process improvement experience • Experienced in prepaid industry.
