Marketing Specialist

Rydex Investments, a leading financial services firm located in Rockville, MD, has an opportunity for a Marketing Specialist . Under management direction, the Marketing Specialist executes marketing and communications projects and programs for assigned products and programs.  Building strong partnerships with internal and select external clients.  Works with the manager on all steps of key account marketing communications and support processes (e.g. developing plans, identifying needs, establishing positioning strategies and goals, generating ideas, writing and preparing marketing communications materials, etc.) Responsibilities:   ·  Provide effective marketing and project management support for a variety of key account marketing initiatives.  ·  Provide key account management support including ownership of regular communications to home offices and maintenance of the marketing literature approval process at select key accounts.  ·  Executes marketing and communications projects for assigned products and programs.  ·  Obtains all required approvals and feedback for proposed plans, schedules and budgets before execution of projects and coordinates activity with members of the marketing staff. ·  Complies with established company, departments and compliance systems and procedures to ensure continuity of support and adequacy of inventory for assigned products and programs and adherence to compliance practices and procedures.  ·  Ensures that projects and programs adhere to established budget.       Qualifications (but not limited to):   ·  Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in marketing, communications or finance. ·  2 years of related experience, including 1 year of experience in marketing communications required. ·  Strong writing and creative skills. ·  Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. ·  Ability to work effectively as a team member. ·  Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. ·  Strong attention to detail and accuracy is a must.
