Membership Marketing Coordinator
The Financial Planning Association seeks a motivated, detail oriented individual to join our membership marketing team. This individual will support the Membership Marketing department in meeting objectives and deadlines related to FPA membership recruitment and retention, and provide ongoing administrative marketing support.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
· Works with the Membership Recruitment Manager and Membership Marketing Director to execute all membership recruitment and retention projects and campaigns.
· Serves as project manager for membership marketing efforts, organizing and tracking resources for successful implementation.
· Keeps member services associates informed of all membership activities and helps them resolve member problems and issues.
· Documents membership processes and communicates opportunities to continuously improve efficiency and enhance the membership experience.
· Coordinates membership activities with chapter communications plan.
· Supports chapters and chapter leaders with ongoing local membership needs and programs.
· Manages vendor communications and project time lines.
· Monitors member feedback and makes suggestions for enhancements to member benefits.
· Stays informed and engaged with association value proposition. Can clearly articulate FPA member benefits in communications with current and potential FPA members.
· Answers member inquiries; documents all inquiries that come to Membership Marketing for trend analysis.
· Reports member issues and problems to supervisor and pertinent departments quickly to mitigate member problems.
· Analyzes and reports results of membership marketing.
· Manages and traffics Membership activity calendar
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree required.
· Minimum of three years experience in marketing; association experience in the area of membership, member and/or customer services a plus.
· Proven success in project management and juggling multiple tasks with multiple deadlines.
· Must be very organized and able to manage time effectively.
· Ability to use computer-based systems to initiate and complete membership marketing projects and to address member requests.
· Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
· Excellent interpersonal skills.
· Must be self-directed, motivated and high energy professional.
· Must be a team-player that works well in collaborative environment with a customer-oriented problem solving attitude.
· Ability to work well under pressure in order to meet deadlines.
