Mgr/Sr. Mgr Risk Management

The candidate will be responsible for Global Corporate Card (GCS) and/or Merchant Services (GMS) with an emphasis on Commercial Underwriting for medium to large multinational companies. Approval of deal specific transactions based on underwriting policies and guidelines. In this position you will implement new underwriting or risk mitigation strategies to drive profitable growth. The incumbent will work closely with GCS and/or GMS Risk Management to analyze and underwrite institutional credit and manage the credit risk of selected high value and/or high risk clients. A thorough understanding of credit risk assessment including analysis of corporate balance sheet, cash flows, income statements, business strategy, etc is crucial for success in this job. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting preferred or equivalent work experience with a minimum of three - five years experience in commercial credit from a financial institution or bank. Highly skilled in commercial credit underwriting. Excellent communication and negotiation skills to facilitate effective interaction with Operations, Clients, Sales force, and Risk colleagues. Must be self motivated and able to manage multiple projects/priorities. Strong team player. Ability to meet deadlines and manage change. Experienced Microsoft word, excel and access user.
