Mortgage Post Closing Loan Auditor

East Tennessee’s largest mortgage lender, Mortgage Investors Group, has an immediate opening for a Mortgage Post Closing Loan Auditor in our Knoxville Home Office.  Ideal candidates will have 1-3 years mortgage, real estate, title company or banking experience with a 4 year college degree preferred.

 POSITION SUMMARY

 

To audit closed loans for compliance with MIG, regulatory and investor requirements within designated deadlines.

 ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

 

· Review wholesale and retail loans for accuracy and compliance with closing instructions and underwriting approval for sale and delivery to investors

· Contact other departments and title companies to obtain documentation

· Adhere to deadlines and focus on details

· Participate in ongoing training and train others

· Assist various departments within Post Closing

· Other duties as assigned.

 JOB SPECIFICATIONS

 

Minimum Education:

 

· High School diploma or equivalent required

· 4 year college degree preferred

 

Minimum Knowledge/Ability:

 Demonstrated communication and organizational skillsAbility to work independentlyAbility to work at a fast pace and to meet frequent deadlines

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, Word and Outlook) and the ability to learn and work with the various MIG computerized applications

 

Minimum Experience:

 1-3 years mortgage, real estate, title company or banking experience preferred
