We are searching for a highly motivated Regional Sales Manager in the LA Metro Region. This position leads our premier California markets and reports directly to our National Sales Manager. It is an excellent opportunity for a highly-skilled leadership professional to continue a successful sales management career.Responsibilities: You will lead, assist, and develop a team of four Market Sales Managers (who lead a combined total of 35-40 sales consultants) within an assigned area to acquire, retain, and expand new business relationships resulting in the achievement of aggressive regional and business line goals and objectives. The Regional Sales Manager is accountable for the achievement of sales and revenue goals through the implementation of a strategic sales plan with programs focused on merchant payment products. You are also accountable for recruiting, development, motivation, and retention of a high performance sales force. You must demonstrate excellent tactical coaching ability by being fully engaged with each Market Sales Manager’s activities; their sales action plans, pipelines, and activity calendars, including disciplined sales tracking and reporting. Conduct weekly sales team meetings in addition to weekly individual meetings with each Market Sales Manager. Also participate in business development activities and in-field sales calls with Sales Consultants. Work closely with Bank partners within the sales geography to maximize the sales opportunities of new and existing customers. Ensure that the sales team has a customer-centric approach to their business, and reinforces the “Wells Fargo Customer Experience”. Demonstrate exemplary sales management behaviors, outstanding leadership characteristics, and ethical behavior consistent with Wells Fargo’s Vision and Values. Our Cash Compensation plan consists of a base salary plus a commission that is uncapped! Minimum Qualifications: *** You must have at least the following minimum qualifications to be considered*** 6 + years of demonstrated successful leadership & people management experience. 3 + years experience at managing multiple managers who manage outside sales teams. 10 + years of outside sales experience. Verifiable success at consistently achieving sales goal metrics. Proven success in recruiting, motivating and coaching a team of sales professionals. Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills. Very strong sales presentation and negotiating skills The ability to professionally and effectively with all levels of managers within and outside the bank. Highly developed PC skills including Outlook, Excel, Word, & PowerPoint. Undergraduate degree in related discipline or equivalent work experience. Preferred Skills: Sales management experience with Well Fargo or other large corporate financial services company. Merchant Services and/or Credit Card processor industry experience is highly preferred. Working knowledge of Visa/MasterCard Interchange and Operating Rules are also highly preferred. An MBA degree. Bilingual language skills. Leadership and/or professional sales management development training.
