Position no 1) Technical Market Data Analyst
JOB SUMMARY
* Responsible for overseeing the Market Data services for client and its subsidiaries.
* They will responsible for 3rd level escalation, technical design and support.
* Initiates requests for bids, customer quotations, and evaluates proposals.
* This position also manages National Contract Accounts for the firm.
* They will evaluate vendor quotes and give suggestions to the management team as to what would be most desirable for the firm.
* This individual must have knowledge of the product, industry and develop a strong relationship with the management teams within the company.
* They must have good understanding of networks, servers and desktop applications.
* Negotiate, review and manage the firm’s market data contracts
* Perform cost/benefit analysis for future purchases, determine best supplier to fit the firms needs
* Technical design and support
* Technical Project Management
BUSINESS KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES REQUIRED:
* Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience

Position no 2) Avaya Application specialist
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
* Develops, improves, implements and maintains enterprise-wide voice networks.
* Very knowledgeable with a variety of telecommunication applications and solutions such as Automatic Call Distribution, Call Center routing, Least Cost Routing, conference, PBX and voicemail systems.
* Relies on extensive experience and judgment to determine requirements for new technology, upgrades and enhancements.
* Performs a variety of complicated tasks with minimal supervision. * Leads and directs the work of others.
* A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
* Analyze, design, implement and maintain telecommunication applications such as ACD routing(including IVR system), least cost routing, routing over tie lines, PBX software, and voicemail systems.
* Keep software and hardware documentation up to date for telecommunications systems such as ACD routing, Interalia recordings, trunking and routing.
* Perform system back ups and propagation.
Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve telecommunication systems service issues.
* Vendor escalation.
* Run reports and analyze traffic from PBX, voicemail and ACD systems
* Support Switchboard Operator consoles and SDC application.
* Disaster Recovery planning, implementation and testing. Provide and update documentation.
* Look for ways to reduce cost.
* Assist with large department relocations by listing and modifying PBX and voicemail software, assist with move inventories, gather department information and make recommendations.
* Call accounting report distribution
* Other duties as assigned
* Projects and support of service issues requires some alternative work hours week nights and/or weekends.
BUSINESS KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS:
* Ability to administer PBX applications on Avaya 4.0, VoIP endpoints, configure ACD. Modular Messaging (MAS and MSS) and least cost routing
* Experience loading patches and firmware
* Problem solving skills analytical thinker, consistent follow through, detail oriented, ability to arbitrate vendor 'finger pointing', project management
* Team player, Familiar with Telecom vendors: Avaya, Siemens, Verizon, AT&T, MCI etc
* Microsoft Office Suite, Visio
* Vendor certification i.e. Siemens, Avaya
* BA/BS or job related experience
* 8 -10 years in telecommunications, experience with a wide range of pbx, acd and call center systems, IP telphony a plus
* Comprehensive knowledge of voice communications, organized, accurate, good follow-up, self motivated, provides leadership
Position no 3) Sr Business Analyst
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Identifies complex business requirements, evaluates alternative solutions and translates solutions into specifications suitable for the development or maintenance of applicable systems.
* Coordinates development teams on large and/or complex projects.
* Manages vendor relationships.
* Translates end user computing requirements for use by the Corporate Technology Department, with emphasis on Application Development Areas.
* Develops and implements test plans. Communicates with team, customers and vendors when changes occur.
* May direct and control activities of other business analysts. Acts as a mentor to junior staff members.
* Helps management to determine overall priorities.
BUSINESS KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS:
* Has Asset Management back-office expertise.
* Has broad experience across functional areas and business systems within financial industry.
* Has superior understanding of financial institution principles and skills associated with domestic and international investing.
* Experience with Portfolio Management Systems, PORTIA preferred.
* Maintains a solid knowledge of corporate and departmental information system strategies
* Has advanced written and oral communication skills to make technical or non-technical material understandable to the business units, to make presentations to management and other personnel, and to conduct meetings and training sessions.
* Good project management skills
* Be prepared to carry a pager for system support outside of office hours.
* Superior knowledge of all phases of system development life cycle, rapid application
* Development methodology preferred.
* Knowledge of relational database environment, Sybase preferred.
* Development concepts preferred.
* Experience with Microsoft Windows, HTML, word processing and spreadsheet application required.
* Education: College degree in Finance, Information Systems or related discipline required; experience and training may be substituted.
* Experience: 5+ years of related experience required
* Relational database experience, Object oriented concepts desired.
