An opportunity currently exists within our National Account department for a National Account Manager.

POSITION TITLE:   NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER

DEPARTMENT: NATIONAL ACCOUNTS

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor degree required

- Minimum ten years financial industry experience required

- In-depth knowledge of financial markets required

- In-depth knowledge of Federated’s financial products, mutual funds and managed accounts required

- In-depth knowledge of competitor’s financial products required

- CFA, CFP, and/or Master degree strongly preferred

- Series 7and 66 licenses must be obtained

MAJOR DUTIES:

- Work with Marketing Departments at key accounts to develop marketing campaigns promoting Federated Funds

- Distribute Federated updates and sales ideas to marketing departments of key accounts

- Communicate with Intranet managers at Key Accounts to promote Federated products electronically

- Maintain relationships with Senior Managers and, when appropriate, Regional Sales Managers at key accounts in order to promote the overall relationship and thoroughly understand our clients strategic objectives

- Work with research departments at key accounts to insure the inclusion of Federated Funds in all fee-based, annuity and retirement platform programs

- Work closely with Federated’s Marketing Division to develop marketing campaigns for each key account

HOURS/LOCATION:

- 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Overtime as required)

EXPLANATORY COMMENTS:

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Must demonstrate decision making, problem solving and analytical skills with particular attention given to detail and accuracy

- Strong management skills

- Must be open to heavy travel; irregular hours; remote supervision

- Must possess/maintain a valid driver’s license
