This individual will be involved in the analysis, design, development, deployment and support of business systems for these organizations. The successful candidate will exhibit the following technical capabilities: A strong working knowledge of C#, ASP.Net and the .Net Framework. VB.Net experience will be considered Good SQL knowledge, preferably in Oracle PL/SQL but T-SQL or ANSI SQL are acceptable A solid background in Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) techniquesCandidates will be responsible for analyzing / reviewing business specifications, for creating detailed designs, for code implementation, for unit / integration testing and for producing accurate time estimates. Proficiency in designing and developing complex IT systems and in assessing and evaluating alternative solutions Experience with full life-cycle application development from idea development, planning and cost estimation through requirements, design, development, testing, and production implementation Object Oriented Design, C#, .Net, ASP.Net, SQL, Microsoft Visual Studio 2003 or later skills are essential Oracle PL/SQL, Web Service, UML, XML skills are desirable Experience with Relational Databases such as Oracle or SQL Server Experience gathering, analyzing and articulating high-level business requirements Ability to translate business requirements into application solutions Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to communicate complex technical issues to all stakeholders, including those who do not have a technical background Strong interpersonal skills. Must be influential but able work effectively in a project team. Knowledge of the Claims and/or Reinsurance business processes a plus Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent work experience required WHAT IS THE COMPENSATION OPPORTUNITY?
