AEGON Companies of Florida, a successful financial services organization that specializes in life insurance, annuities and mutual funds, has an immediate opening for .Net Web Developer.
The successful candidate will serve as a software developer to support AEGON Financial Partners (AFP) and Western Reserve Life (WRL) software needs, web presence and eBusiness initiatives; analyze business needs, create requirements and plan/develops/test web application solutions; apply current application development and methodologies for enterprise level development activities.
Requires a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent related work experience; two years of software development experience in support of web applications; experience defining/developing web applications and development in VB, ASP, .Net, JAVA, J2EE, EJB; understanding of database design and SQL; experience in user interface design and usability; familiarity with web design considerations, taxonomy and web navigation; excellent communication and presentation skills; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; the ability to handle multiple tasks.
