New Accounts Associate III

Position Description:

POSITION SUMMARYThis is a highly visible administrative customer service position. Serves as liaison between the home office and brokers and sales assistants regarding account set-up and ongoing maintenance of accounts. Resolves second and third level questions and problems. JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct training sessions for Sales Assistants and Financial Consultants. Serves as backup for New Account Supervisor. Responds to escalated inquires from financial consultants, sales assistants, and home office personnel concerning the opening of new accounts, account master and legal documentation. Assists in coordination and implementation of workflow & processing in the department. Assists with staff training on changes and operational updates. Updates and maintains the Operations Policy and Procedure Guide. Serves as New Accounts liaison to Risk and Regulatory, Compliance, and external auditors. Reviews and compiles new accounts reports. Initiates and tests automation processes and performs project work. JOB REQUIREMENTS Three years experience of account opening experience required. Ability to direct work efforts of others. Knowledge of brokerage business, especially compliance regulations, various account types and legal documentation. Extensive use of BETA system preferred. Excellent customer service skills. Experience in a call center environment preferred. Communications and interpersonal skills sufficient to interact with all levels of the organization. Ability to handle various priorities and deadlines with strong attention to detail and positive attitude. Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office products and Internet. Ability to work non-traditional hours as needed. Series 7 preferred.
