Office Manager-Marketing Assistant
1. PrimaryRoles – This role has primary responsibility in the following areas:
· Answering phones (limited outside call volume),greeting visitors and handling all mail/courier services and general officesupport
· Assisting staff with travel arrangements includingflights, hotel and car rental
· Processing expense reports
· Assisting in research of potential end user/MSI GWclients
· General administrative support of all MSI GW teammembers
2. SecondaryRoles – This role has secondary responsibility in the following areas:
· Assisting in managing, tracking and filing tradetickets, confirmations and broker invoicing associated with business operation
· Assisting in marketing efforts (may include conductingmarket research, assisting in developing/implementing marketing plans andpossibly attending/supporting MSI GW at trade show events)
· Supporting staff in the development of Word,PowerPoint, Excel and Access materials
· Assisting in tracking accounts payable/receivable
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
1. Excellent organizationalskills, proficient vocabulary and grammar, strong attention to detail andcompetent in multi-tasking abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
2. Strong competency withMicrosoft Office products (notably Word, PowerPoint, Access and Excel) as wellas Internet proficient; accurate typing of at least 40 words per minute.
3. Ability to organize, planand coordinate timely accomplishments of responsibilities (including supportingothers in their roles with regard to same).
4. Ability to interact andcommunicate with individuals in various functional areas and various levels ofan organization (both internally and externally).
5. Strong desire to drive forresults in ambiguous situations; comfortable playing multiple roles and takingresponsibilities at varying levels of importance within the organization.
6. Ability to workindependently.
7. General understanding ofinvestments/accounting helpful.
8. Ability to speak/readJapanese helpful (but not required).
