Operations Administrator
The Company:
First Tryon Securities, LLC is a regional broker/dealer located in Charlotte, NC. The Firm is a market maker in corporate, agency and municipal bonds.
Job Description:
The Operations Administrator will be expected to use the back office systems of the firm’s clearing company on a frequent basis. The Operations Administrator will support the trading and sales desk in the following areas: Opening of new accounts Maintenance of account records for Compliance Trade comparisons via phone Reconciliation of trade problems such as DKs, uncompared trades, fails, rejects Reconciliation of position and profit & loss differences Daily preparation of inventory and profit & loss report for management Intra-day monitoring of TRACE and MSRB reporting Research and coordination of interest claims and buy ins Daily sorting and filing of trade tickets
Qualifications: Minimum of three years experience in operations role with broker/dealer
Compensation: Base compensation dependent on level of experience Eligible for annual bonus based on individual and company performance Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, life, 401K
