Operations Risk Management - Technical Specialist

Operations Risk Management Group (ORM) has open a high profile project management position that will provide the right individual with an opportunity to view risk on a cross product and global basis; and work closely with Operations' management and technical experts, and individuals from other Divisions at the Firm, to drive change.

 

Through a collaborative partnership with the various operational areas, ORM’s mission is to provide a framework that: enables the proactive identification, analysis, assessment and mitigation of key risks across Operations, ensures best practices are implemented for key controls and provides risk management training and tools to Operations’ staff to minimize incidents and issues. The group directly supports senior Operations management including the Operations Operating Committee, the Operations Risk Steering Committee and Global Product Heads.

 

The Project Manager will provide support to the Operations Risk Management (ORM) Group and assist in the execution of their responsibilities related to Firm-wide and Operations various control related programs.  This will include, but is not limited to, the following:

 

Program and Status Management: Coordinate across the various Committees/Forums membership to obtain standard and ad-hoc updates, deliverables, feedback, and other matters on an ongoing basis.  Review received information to ensure it meets requirements, and help address any gaps or interdependencies.

Committees/Forums Management:  Help establish any new Committees/Forums, manage attendee lists, and, as required, coordinate meetings. Also consultant will prepare documentation to support the Committees/Forums meetings. Finally, Consultant will provide support in actioning some of the requirements that are outputs of the Committees/Forums.

Development of Required Documents: Help establish, and update as required, documentation requirements that will support the various Committees/Forums. This includes consolidating ORM's individual work-plans into one consolidated document and working with team to implement common approach to target dates, milestones, status updates. Also, consultant will train a member of the team to assume responsibility for these activities moving forward.

Other ORM Group Support: Provide other assistance to the team  on an "as required" basis, and if time available
