The Opportunity:Operations Specialist

We are seeking an Operations Specialist to join our team.  This is a critical position within the Operations Group at OptionsHouse.  The position entails team work, efficiency, attention to detail, patience, problem solving and the ability to change gears from one work load to another at a minutes notice.  The candidate will work with many different departments, (i.e. technology, customer service, management, off site vendors, etc).

Responsibilities:

·  Assist with trade breaks and assignments for all areas of the firm 

·  Provide support in the funding process of customers accounts including filing and  processing checks

·  Provide effective customer service for all OptionsHouse customers

·  Assist in application process including printing, faxing, and scanning of documentation

·  Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

· 3+ years back office/operations experience in a trading environment

· NASD Series 7 (or 42 and 62) and Series 63 registrations

· Must have the ability to work in a fast-pace, time-sensitive, team environment with meaningful client interactions

· High performance and integrity levels with proven experience as a strong team player

· Commitment to company values

· Must have strong attention to detail

· Computer proficiency in MS Suite programs (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook) and ability to quickly learn new software
