PAYROLL PROCESSING SPECIALIST

The Payroll Processing Specialist will participate in training to learn the fundamentals of institutional 401(k) plans and plan processing. The Specialists’ primary focus will be to process payroll contributions for CitiStreet clients. In addition, the Specialist may be responsible for processing other types of participant-driven transactions including hardships, distributions, rollovers in, loans and beneficiary maintenance for CitiStreet defined contribution plans.

The Specialist will use the OmniPlus plan accounting system and the Power Image imaging system to receive and process work. The Specialist will use detailed checklists to perform their duties and will be expected to identify and escalate situations to a Senior Specialist or Team Leader when the checklists do not provide the information to address the process at hand. They may also be responsible for delivering or communicating information to other units within the company and may perform other administrative tasks.

Qualified candidates must have the ability to process a high volume of transactions in a timely and accurate fashion. Candidates must be detailed oriented and have strong analytical thinking, organizational and math skills. Candidates m, ared Services-ionr units within the company and may perform other administrative tasks./ to a Senior pecialist when the checkust have solid PC skills and the ability to learn new systems.

Team members may be required to cross train within the department on other processing functions. Experience with imaging systems, financial services transaction processing or defined contribution plans is a plus. Overtime will be required during periods of high volume. Required Qualifications:At least one year of defined contribution plan experience or related payroll experience.SunGard OmniPlus experience.Experience in working in a team environment.Demonstrated experience in managing under deadlines. Microsoft Excel spreadsheet experience.Ability and willingness to work overtime when needed. High school diploma.
