Our client, a global investment bank in midtown, is looking for a strong Project Manager with PMO experience to assist the Chief of Staff for the Strategic Process Change group, primarily focused on stakeholder management, executive presentations and other program management functions.

 

Key Responsibilities: Creating executive level presentations both aesthetically pleasing and strategically designed (this is a key responsibility of the role)Responsible for assisting the Chief of Staff with best practice business processes for but not  limited to:

· Stakeholder Management

· Governance

· Budget and control management

· Quality management

· Impact management

· Status reporting

· Program communication Experience tracking with Project Benefits

· Managing & tracking Project Financials (including budgeting, headcount reporting, expense reporting, etc.)

· Applying Project Management Methodologies to develop appropriate solutions and standardize across Department

 

 Experience and Skills Required:

 

· Minimum five to seven years Project Management / Project Management Office Experience on large global financial programs.

· Real Program Management delivery experience. Not just theoretical or PMO based.

· Ability to learn and understand the content

· Ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment

· Strong ability to facilitate

· Strong presentation skills including creating well executed executive management materials

· Ability to manage people via a dotted line model - strong persuasion skills

· Power user in the following Microsoft applications: PowerPoint, Excel & Word. Knowledge of Microsoft Project a plus.

· Strong interpersonal & leadership skills with experience in dealing with senior management

· Strong communications skills at all levels

· Knowledge of formal project management methods
