HighlightsAIG Job ID: VALIC-VJB-SA-Evnsville-PISJENPosition Type: Part Time - RegularLocation: IN-EvansvilleRelocation: NoRequirementsEducation: High SchoolExperience: 3-5 yearsDescription: Part Time Sales AssistantWhat You Will Be Doing:- Providing administrative support to a AIG Retirement sales professional (Senior Financial Advisor).- Monitor and manage Senior Financial Advisor's calendars.- Monitor and manage sales leads.- Respond to client requests for forms or sales literature.- Assist with processing paperwork and forms.- Phone work setting appointments with existing clients.- Assist with preparing client mailings.- Prepare routine correspondence; and, completing office tasks such as copying, taking messages, distributing mail items, etc. - This position will not perform selling duties, nor advise clients. Requirements:- To be successful in this position, individual must be skilled in verbal communication and have the ability to interact effectively with external contact. - Must consistently exercise discretion in handling client interactions, and in directing clients to the appropriate party for resolving problems orcomplex issues. - Must demonstrate strong organizational skills. - Must be proficient with applicable personal computer applications, including managing Outlook e-mail, MS Word processing, MS Excel, and also acquire and maintain a working knowledge of AIG Retirement sales materials ordering procedures and regulations pertaining to client contact.- Laptop computer may be provided.Hours & Compensation:- 15 - 20 hours per week- Starting pay rate at ________$10-$12_____ hour, depending upon experience.- No securities licensing required.- Person hired for this position will either work in the Senior Financial Advisor's office and/or from home.- Training will be provided by the Senior Financial Advisor.
