Performance Learning Solutions Designer

Major Duties and Functions Include: The primary responsibilities in this role are to serve as the key interface to the Lines-of-Business (LOB), Learning & Development associates in leveraging tools, systems and processes in designing, producing, and delivering content in our Performance-Learning model. Supports multiple projects while ensuring connectivity to the larger enterprise to reduce redundancy and leads the establishment and promotion of best practices in instructional development. Provides guidance and mentoring to colleagues on effective design of complex learning solutions. Leads in the development and refinement of tools, templates, and processes to support efficient course design and development. Creates vendor evaluation and selection criteria; establishes preferred-vendor list; leverage preferred design and development vendors to support content production needs as necessary. Establish and implement metrics to support the continuous improvement. Works with the Learning Technology team to ensure synergy between design and development needs and technical support systems. Monitors the latest trends and technologies used for development of training materials; plays a leading role in matching instructional content to development needs, tools and platforms, evaluating and selecting instructional design methodologies and tools. Performs other duties as required What You Need to Succeed: Candidate must be a highly successful, business oriented professional with demonstrated success as a Performance Learning Solutions Designer. 5-8 years relevant experience Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. Knowledge of instructional development for all major platforms. Demonstrated competence at networking and building effective working relationships within a matrix environment. Demonstrated extensive experience in instructional design for diverse topics and populations. Work shouldn’t be something you do just to make ends meet.
